Dear James,

I’m just writing to let you that I left my old job and found something new and quite intriguing.

One the reasons of leaving my old job was that I became frustrated working in Administration at this Plumbing company. It felt like I was restricted within the scope of the industry and wanted to explore better opportunities.

The position that I hold now is at an Engineering firm of a Financial Controller reporting directly to the CFO. Not only was I passionate about working in this field but also very motivated since high school. This role offers remote working flexibility of two days a week which has been convenient for me. The management is supportive of my personal goals and career development.

I am glad to share another piece of good news that I finally became a Permanent Resident of Canada after enduring under the hardest struggle of 5 years. I would like to celebrate this with you. Anyways, we should catch up soon, let me know your availability and maybe we can invite our other buddies too and celebrate this next week.

Keep in touch,
