Dear Mr. Okoro,

Having completed my internship, I am writing to formally request a transfer to another section in the company, the Department of Research and Analysis, as I believe it is essential for my career advancement.

During my training in the wet laboratory, I developed proficiency in computational biology and gained experience in different aspects of bioinformatics. This has been beneficial to my career progression.

My move would be of great benefit to the organization. The knowledge I have gained will have a significant impact on the outcome of the research work carried out in the unit, as the department lacks researchers who are experienced in computational systems biology.

I am committed to staying with the company and I look forward to contributing to upcoming projects.
