The bar chart illustrates the changes and fluctuations in divorce rates in three cities according to the statistics from 2013 to 2017. Overall, one can see that percentages of divorses markedly decreased in Paris and gradually dropped in Istanbul, which always had the higest rate; but notably rose in London.

Regarding rates of divorce in London, they were the lowest in 2013, only slightly above 15%, and after one year moderately rose to the same number as it was in Paris. After this period, percentage grew notably peaking in 2016-2017 and now being approximately 25%.

Trends in Paris follow a different trend: the fraction of divorces decreased slightly from 20 in 2013 to around 17 in 2014, and then continued decline to 15% in 2015. After this moment, the amount of divorces saw a sudden abrupt surge to almost 25%, followed by a considerable dip to less then 10% in 2017.

Finally, Istanbul always was the city with the highest divorce rates. The percentage significantly grew from, approximately 27% in 2013 to more than one third in 2014. This sharp rise was followed by a slight drop in percentages making the final rates slightly above 25%, nevertheless, Istanbul stays dominant in divorce rates.

To summarise, divorce rates in London increased from 2013 to 2017, while in Paris experienced an overall decline making this capital to have these rates slightly below 10%. At the same time, even though rates slightly dropped in Istanbul, the high initial number still makes this city leading in divorces.
