The bar chart illustrates how students spend their time in the US, Australia, and Canada. Overall, whilst a large number of pupils allot their time for either sleeping or studying in the US and Canada, Australian students largely prefer revising their coursework. In all three countries, students spend less time relaxing.
In the US and Canada, students sleep for 8.5 hours and 8 hours respectively. While in Australia they sleep an hour less compared to the Canadian students. Almost the same amount of time is spent on studying as on sleeping in the US and Canada, except the numbers are reversed. American students study for 8 hours and in Canada, they study for an extra 30 minutes. Students in Australia, on the other hand, devote most of their day to studying, accounting for more than half a day.
Both the American and Canadian students give 7.5 hours of the day to relaxing. Whereas, pupils in Australia do not give more importance to relaxing, and relax only for 4 hours.
