Dear Mr Babatunde,

I am writing to sincerely apologize for scratching your car this morning, it was an unintentional act.

My side mirror fell off late last night while I was purchasing groceries at the supermarket and i couldn’t reach my mechanic as at that time. So, While i was trying to make a reverse out of the compound this morning I could not clearly see the side and I bumped into your car at the back which left a scratch at the door of the drivers side.

I have made arrangements with my mechanic on how to fix it and I have also made payment. I hope you would be at home by 6pm today because He mentioned it is important to have you around when fixing it. Again, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this might have caused you today and thank you for understanding.
