Dear Mr. Babatunde,

I am writing to sincerely apologize for scratching your car this morning unintentionally when driving out.

My side mirror was broken last night while I was purchasing groceries at the supermarket. The broken rear mirror could not allow me to see my surroundings clearly while driving and I couldn’t reach my mechanic as at that time. So, While I was trying to make a reverse out of the compound this morning, I bumped into your car at the back which left a scratch at the door of the drivers side due to the broken mirror.

I have made arrangements with my mechanic on how to fix it and I have also made payment. I hope you would be at home by 6pm today because He mentioned it is important to have you around when fixing it. Again, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this might have caused you today and thank you for understanding.
