Hi Sam,

I had to write you a letter, as you haven’t been in touch since the last evening. I hope you’re getting on well.

Remember when I told you about my parents that they would probably get me something. Guess what! I was given a ticket to see our favorite band! What’s more, my mother said I should take you with me, so she gave another one. Isn’t it mind-blowing? It is written that the concert takes place in the main street, on 3rd October.

Honestly, I’ve craved to those tickets for a long time. Not because I desperately wanted to go there, but because you’re huge fan of this band – The Rock Cats. I thought you would be deliriously happy to finally see them face-to-face.

By the way, I’ve been meaning to show you my brand new DVD. I’d love to invite you over for dinner this Friday after the concert. My grandmother’s going to make the most succulent dish ever!
