Band 8+: You are a former high school student trying to organise a reunion with classmates of ten years ago. Write a letter inviting them to the event. Using the notes and map below, include suitable information and directions from your old school to the Queen's Hotel in your letter.

Note: Both the topic and the answer were created by one of our users.

Dear classmates,

I’m writing to invite you to our reunion to celebrate ten years on September 12th.

Our reunion will be held at Queen’s Hotel on Saturday beginning at 8 p.m. on September 12th. Our party will include numerous thrilling activities such as sharing memories, enjoying dinner and entertainment. We will look back on our old memories together through a video and enjoy a buffet or banquet together. We will also sing karaoke, perform songs, dances, or short plays such as “Who Am I?” or “Guess the Student” during the party. As this is a formal reunion, formal attire is required.

You shouldn’t have too much trouble finding the Queen’s Hotel, but here are a few directions so you don’t get lost. From St. Paul’s High School, walk along BedFord Road in front of the school until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, turn left at the second exit to reach Market Road. Go straight until you reach Winton Street, and then turn left. Queen’s Hotel will be located at number 15 on your left on Winton Street.

I hope you’ll be able to make it to the reunion. Looking forward to seeing you then.

Love,

Le Hong Nhi
