Dear Luis,

I am writing to offer my help with the upcoming event. I’d be delighted to prepare a traditional dish of my home country for everyone to enjoy.

The dish I have in my mind is butter chicken, a popular Indian dish made with tender pieces of chicken cooked in a creamy tomato-based sauce with a blend of aromatic spices. It is usually served with rice or naan and has a rich, mildly spicy flavour.

I think butter chicken would be a great addition to the event because it is one of the most popular dishes in India and is enjoyed by people of different backgrounds. It would also give international students an opportunity to experience the rich flavours of Indian cuisine and learn about our food culture.

I am sure everyone will enjoy trying this dish and I’d be happy to help with the preparations. Please let me know if you think it would be a suitable choice for the event.
