Dear Sir or Madam,

Let me introduce myself; my name is Angelica Palacios. I am writing this letter because I am organizing a charity fundraising event to support a local animal shelter.

This event is very important for both, the staff and animals of the shelter, and I would like to invite you to participate in this celebration.

This event will be held next Saturday 1st of August, in the community center of the city; it is located in Green street 2344, behind the library. It will start at 10:00 A.M. and it will finish at 7:00 P.M.

In our event we will have a lot of activities for both, children and adults, and you are invited to participate. Besides, the staff will be selling food and drinks.

All money collected will be to support the shelter. This money will be the big help for buy food for the animals. It for this reason that your attendance is very important.
