Hi Rina!

How are you? I am writing to invite you to a farewell dinner for our colleague.

In terms of the colleague, it is for Budi from the accounting department. He has worked with us for 5 years and the farewell is significant because he is moving to Canada on his own next month. We will really miss him. The dinner will be held on 10 September 2026 at 7 pm at “Sari Rasa Restaurant” on Jalan Merdeka.

I was wondering if you could help with any suggestions for a gift. Maybe we could all contribute money to buy him a watch? Also, would you like to make a short speech during the dinner? I think your speech would outperform others because you are close to him.

Anyway, please let me know if you can come. It would be great to see you there.
