Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Linda, and I enrolled in a short course at your college. Today I am writing to ask for further information regarding the course description.

Could you provide me with the course content and the expected outcome of students? I also wonder whether the course offers in-depth knowledge or a broader overview of the subject. To better prepare for academic term, may I get the course schedule including starting and finishing times? Besides, I’m interested in the accomodation and I only require a place located near the college. Given that I’m a foreign student, I find it difficult to look for a good place to live. In addtion, I did not read in the brochure about the public transportation in the city, so I’m worried to be lost. Would it be possible for you to give me a detailed map? For greater convenience, may I receive help by your student assistant to meet face-to-face when I arrive?
