Dear Restaurant Manager,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inquire about the possibility of reserving a table at your restaurant for a surprise birthday celebration for a close friend.

I am planning the event for Saturday, 15 March, at approximately 7:30 p.m. We are expecting around 10 to 12 guests, and we would prefer a comfortable table or a semi-private area if available, as the celebration is intended to be a surprise.
