Dear Sarah,

I hope that you are doing well. As you know I was looking for a job and I finally got one in Vancouver. You will be happy to know that I am working as an interior designer from next month. Since commuting every day from Surrey to Vancouver will be difficult, I am planning to move there permanently.

If you have some time, can you give me some suggestions about living there? Like how much an average person spends on rent, groceries and other utilities. Moreover, tell me everything regarding the transportation system in the city.

It would mean a lot if you could help me find affordable accommodation nearby your house. Specifically, I want a single person room with a pet-friendly neighbourhood. My budget is quite low for now, so I can only manage rent under 500 dollars. Also, I want to invite you for dinner whenever you are free. See you soon!
