Despite being scattered across the globe, the entire population shares one common aspiration: to maintain a ‘good life’. Achieving such an aspiration depends on a myriad of factors, which vary from one place to another. This article will focus on the factors which are considered vital for pursuing a good life in Egypt and how youth picture it.

In Egypt, a plethora of factors are considered crucial for achieving an adequate lifestyle. Maintaining good health has been indicated to be the most prioritized for age groups of 20 and above, with 85% of elders finding it fundamental towards an enhanced living. Attaining a college education was found unimportant for all age groups, except the youth. This could be due to the elders who have already graduated, finding college worthless for a good life. Unlike teens who were told that graduating from a college is the key to start accomplishing a suitable lifestyle.

The generation has faced a dramatic change over the years, altering opinions of the youth towards many topics, including the way of conducting a prosperous lifestyle. The majority of youth find free time and access to nice clothes and jewellery important factors for their way of living life, with approximately 50% of teens finding them essential. It is quite logical that teens have minimal interest towards how they should live life, it mainly due to their heavy reliance on their parents or guardians in terms of healthcare and wellbeing, which bends them towards leisure and fun rather than problems in a society for instance.

All in all, every individual in the world aims for a flourishing future, with varying opinions for each and every age group on how to achieve one.
