Dear Mr. Mark,

I, Jaspreet Singh, am a applicant for the PHD program at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I am honored to have been invited for an admission interview at your university as studying their is my lifelong dream. I am writing this letter to you to request a reschedule for the admission interview due to a previous appointment.

I had previously made a medical appointment with a endocrinologist at the same time as the admission interview which i am unable to reschedule due to limited availability of specialists. This appointment is for a issue with my latest medical test reports and missing it could have some impact on my health.

I apologize for the inconvenience it may cause to you and the university. I would like you to reschedule the interview at a different time because i do not want to miss this opportunity. Additionally, it would be very helpful to me if you would let me know about the duration of the interview or is there any entrance exam i should prepare for.

I would be very grateful if you change the interview time and could answer my queries. I look forward to your response.
