Dear Ifeoma,
I hope this letter finds you well.
I’m writing to deeply apologize about the fact that, unfortunately, I’d not be around for your scheduled visit this coming month. This is because I will be on a two-month induction training for my new job. I suppose the Easter holiday would be a great time for the next movie night.
I’m so sorry that I won’t be around for our next film nights, was really looking forward to this leisure activity, so hope you can forgive me.
CRA has offered me the assistant administrative officer role, it’s a dream come true right? Well, I will be off for training in Abuja in two days, so I won’t be back until March since the training lasts for two months.
If it’s okay for you, can we shift our get together to the last week of March, which is around the Easter break. Hence, to allow me some me time to find my feet after the training.
So sorry about this turn out of event. Hope you’ll forgive me, do you write back soon.
Warm regards,
Ebere.
