Dear Mr. Smith,

I am writing to inform you that I will not be able to make it to the English class I enrolled in, which starts this Saturday.

One of my uncles, who lives close to me, has gotten into an accident and is on bedrest. Since I am the only family who lives closest to him, I will have to travel to his house and take care of him until he feels better. This is a very tough time for us, and I truly apologize for having to cancel this class.

As stated in your terms and conditions, I request a refund since my cause is a family emergency. Kindly let me know when the refund can be processed and how long it would take for it to reflect on my bank account. Once my uncle feels better, I will definitely enrol in this class again, perphaps next semester or the July intake.

Once again, I apologize for withdrawing from this class.
