Dear Mary,

Hope everything is going well in your life,

I wanted to reach out because recently I tried hiking and I’ve been loving it, it’s my new hobby. I started it because Jen, my high school friend, invited me for a hike with some of her friends, they usually get together once every fortnight to go on hikes around the city.

I’ve been going with them for about 3 months now and I’ve been enjoying it so much; it’s a great opportunity to connect with nature, do some exercise and get to visit new places around the city. They have a group chat to organise the hikes and you get to vote where would you like to go next.

I thought about letting you know about this, because I know how much you enjoy walking and it would be great if you could come with us to the next hike that is booked for next Saturday.
