Dear Alex

I am writing to will warm that I can’t being able to help you with your important projects I promise

Unfortunately, I have some personal issues that come up on the day we were supposed to be working on the project.I sincerely apologize for this situation. My little brother has suddenly become ill, and I need to stay with him because there is no one expect me. I think that I will stay here more then 3 hours. I could not come to work and assist you with the project.

I understand that it was a very important project but my situation is not good. I am so sorry but you can ask the things that you don’t understand.

To make up for this, I would be happy to help you complete the remaining task this week. I can also help you outside of working hours.

Once again ,I sincerely apologize for letting you down. I hope that you can understand my situation
