Dear colleage,

I hope that this letter finds you well. I am writing to explain why i could not help you with your Spanish project last week as we had planned before.

I had a family emergency, my grandmother was not feeling well so I had to take her to the hospital and I was there the entire nigth. Actually, she is still in the hospital because she got surgery to help with her pain on the kidney. As I told you it was an unexpected emergency that is why i could not text you to let you know in advance.

Moveover, I fully understand that my unattendance deeply impact your project since you do not understand Spanish, and I am the only one that could translate the task for you.

As an apology, I am available to help you anytime in the future, you already know my schedule so you can arrange when we can meet to advice you with your future spanish projects.

My most sincerity apologies

Yours Faithfully,

Ruben Henriquez
