Dear sir,

I’m contacting you for the following reason. Resently I’ve seen your advertisement for a weekend job as a local guide and I was deeply interested in it.

There are a few reasons I want this job. Personally I adore explain any details about our history since I know it pretty well. Plus I’m really eager to develop my communication skills as it may help me in my future permanent job. Further to all of this point this opportunity could be an excellent experience and ability to immerse in our local culture even more.

To begin with I actually enjoy our local history and I know a lot about it as I took part in every project in my school that was connected to a specific history period of time. Besides it a few years ago my mom had an experience in working as a tour guide and she was talking a lot about it so I’ve already know a lot of aspects of the job. To be honest I have never been a tour guide before but I for sure know how it works. In addition, when I was a child I used to join many of guided tours and observed their work. I even had a personal conversation with some of the guides because I badly wanted to know more about their job.
