Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you to apply for a position as a local tour guide. I would like to have this job because I am very interested in local history. I am also a evry sociable person, who can explain complicated matter in an easy way. To spend time outdoors is always a pleasure for me.

I was born and rised in this town, so I know its history and sights very well. I am in a good shape and I can walk long distances without being tired. I have good people skills and can find common language with almost anyone.

I have already worked as a tour guide in the city nearby. Also I have worked as a historiker at the university and earlier as a manager in hotels and restaurants.

I hope you will consider me for this position and look forward to hearing from you.
