I am writing to express my interest in the part-time position at your bookstore, which I saw advertised in the local newspaper. As an avid reader and someone who enjoys interacting with people, I believe this role would be a perfect fit for my skills and interests.

I have prior experience working retail, i gained experience assisting customers, helping them find what they needed and providing friendly service. I also handled cash and worked with stock, making sure everything was well-organized. These experiences taught me to work efficiently and stay focused on details, which would help me contribute to your bookstore. I also enjoy working in a team and learning new things.
