Dear John,

I hope this letter finds you in good spirits and on the road to a swift recovery. I wanted to share the exciting details of the match we played last weekend against Humber College, who is currently the top team in the tournament.

Despite the challenging conditions, our team triumphed with a score of 3-2. The weather initially posed a significant obstacle as the first half saw relentless rain, leaving the field slippery and difficult to navigate. Unfortunately, this allowed our opponents to take an early lead of 0-2.

However, the second half brought a remarkable turnaround. The rain had transformed to a manageable drizzle, and our team regrouped. With renewed determination, we gained control of the ball, scored three goals, and turned the match around to secure a victory. The thrill of winning was exhilarating, but I couldn’t help feeling a tinge of sadness knowing you weren’t there to celebrate with us.
