Dear Manu,

How are you? I hope you and your family are doing well. I am delighted to tell you that our football team won the weekend’s match. However, your absence created a gloomy atmosphere over the entire team.

To be honest, on the match day we felt anxious due to your absence. Do you know Mathew? He was our college junior’s student. Our coach selected Mathew instead of you. Additionally, it wasn’t done on our fault. The match was held at St Joseph stadium which is located at Thiruvananthapuram. The ground was muddy and slippery.

The first half of the match was very difficult, we are struggling to find our rhythm. We are very tensed during the entire match. In the final minutes, Mathew scored a winning goal.

I really missed your presence and energy during the match and celebration. I will visit you next week.
