Dear neighbor,

I am writing to apologize for not fulfilling my promise of assisting you with your garden while you were away on a vacation and to profer a compensation for your disappointment.

Although I had it all planned out on how I was going to check on your garden every two days till you return and make sure the plants are well trimmed and the surroundings neat.

Unfortunately I fell suddenly ill and could not meet up to the fulfillment of my promise. I was even rushed to the hospital where an emergency surgery was carried out on me. And due to this, I was absent from home and unable to monitor the state of your garden.

However, since I am back from the hospital and fully recovered, I will invite a professional gardener to help trim the flowers in your garden and water them for you.
