Dear Sir,
I am writing you this letter to provide you with feedback related to the Microsoft Excel course I completed recently. I am happy to inform you about some of the course content, how it is relevant to my particular role and my thoughts regarding its wider applicability to the team here at Maverick Computers.
The title of the course was Advanced Functions of Microsoft Excel. As the name suggests, the course was mainly related to demonstrating the uses of different complex formulas in Excel. Particularly, I learned how these advanced formulas can be used to manipulate data to create charts and reveal insights.
As I am an Analyst in the Human Resources Department the course was quite useful for me. Some of the major tasks in my role are number and data based, for example, when analyzing our personnel data for engagement surveys and HR reports. I am sure that going forward I will use the formulas I learned in the course to analyze HR data in different ways and gain deeper insights.
However, I have to inform you that I do not believe this particular course can be useful to the wider employee base at our company. Our company consists of individuals in diverse roles which quite often are not quantitative such as roles in office administration, project management and marketing. Since this course is mandatory to take for all employees, I would strongly suggest to avoid spending the time and resources to have a course taught to some employees who may not have much use of the course content in their respective roles.
I hope that you take my feedback into consideration.
Best,
Riyadh
