Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to apologize for my untimely departure during the annual workshop that was organized by our community. I received a phone call from my daughter’s school requesting that I should come see her in school. Unfortunately, an accident occurred while she was playing in the classrom so she fell and broke her teeth.

After my departure, I heard that some staff were invited to discuss and enlighten the community about effective waste management. I regret not being present as I would have also contributed to this discussion. It is indeed pertinent to enlighten people about how to recycle waste, as this would help build a better and cleaner environment.

In my opinion, I would like to request that this particular session be taught regularly in our annual workshop and I suggest that community members should support both physically and financially to this cause.
