Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my displeasure about an issue my train tickets. I purchased five tickets for a journey my family planned to embark on next month. Due to the inconsistent rise and fall in the prices of goods and services in the country, I decided to buy the tickets a week before. On the faithful day we went to he station to catch the train for the journey, I was informed that I could not use the tickets.
It was after this, I explained to the security officer that was on duty and He directed me to the customer service department. On getting there, I explained my situation but the personnel that attended to me was so non-challant with her response. I tried recording the situation so as to have evidence but I couldn’t because I left my phone with my spouse. I was so displeased doing the customer service personnel response to my complaint. This led to my family missing the train and we couldn’t meet up with the journey.
As a regular user of the train station, it is quite displeasing seeing this occur. I would like to suggest that the station look into this and kindly make a refund of money spent on purchasing the tickets. Also, to ensure this scenario does not occur again, customer service personnel should be trained in how to address customers complaints. Furthermore, confirmation should be sent to customers after purchasing their train tickets. This will help customers to be satisfied with whatever service is provided to them.
I look forward to hearing from you and receiving the refund of my train tickets.
Yours faithfully,
Tolu
