Dear Nikita,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to tell you about the amazing experience I had visiting Paris with my family last month, since I know you are going there in a couple of weeks too!
The trip was like a dream come true and a much-needed vacation. Although we had a long flight there and some language barriers, the overall trip went smoothly since the people there are very helpful. We were able to visit many cool spots like Sacre-Coeur, Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, and of course, the Eiffel Tower. The cuisine there was exceptional, especially the delicious croissants.
When you visit Paris, I highly recommend you visit the Louvre early in the morning because it gets very crowded as the day goes by. There are also very good cafes and restaurants along with shops for souvenirs, right next to the museum. I tried local dishes like steak frites and snails there that you should try out too. Also, the Eiffel Tower has a sparkling light show every hour from 9pm onwards that you should not miss out on.
Before your visit, I highly recommend downloading a translation app like Google Translate, as it will be very helpful to communicate with locals in case you need assistance. Going around Paris was overall easy, since we usually took a cab or the train that we had bought a week-long ticket for. I suggest you do that too. We stayed at an Ibis hotel near the airport that you can try out too, because not only was it a pleasant stay, it was also a very convenient location with the nearby train station.
I hope you have a great time visiting the city of love! Waiting for the letters and postcards from your visit soon.
With love,
Pallavi
