Band 7+: The organizer of the annual festival is going to organize a festival in your city. Write a letter to the organizer giving feedback for last year and suggestions for this year. In your letter, you should: give your feedback for the last festival, tell what you can do for the new festival, ask a question about the new festival.

Note: Both the topic and the answer were created by one of our users.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to give some feedback for the annual festival this year. Last year, we held an annual festival at the city hall square. Many people attended the festival to experience the celebration of Canada Day, and it featured a country music concert. The festival invited many food trucks to provide food and beverages on site, as people waited for the night firework show. The festival also allowed a beer garden, where people enjoyed their beer. Overall, people had a lot of fun last year.

As an organizer myself, I believe there are several potential ways that could improve their experience this year. I could expand the concerts’ genre, so people may stay longer at the concert. I could coordinate with the government to set up a night market, where people could taste different types of food across the world. I could create an easter egg event, which allows people to interact with others.

Finally, my question to the new festival would be the budget of the year. If I could spend more money for the festival’s setup, people would appreciate how much dedication that I spend for them. The more new content we create, the more people will enjoy. Please let me know if this feedback helps the event planning next year, and I am looking forward to hearing back from your department.

Faithfully yours,

Allen He
