Dear Sarah,

It was great to hear from you. It has been almost 2 years since we last spoke, it is wonderful to hear about your graduation. I knew you had it in you and to graduate with a 4.0 gpa is an even greater accomplishment. I’m sure Uncle Jack and Aunty Jill are over the moon.

Going to college for your masters straight after your bachelors is a good idea but I believe you would benefit greatly by getting two to three years of work experience. Attending higher education right now with the same mindset that you had in your previous education may not be the best route to take. If you get a job or two you will understand what type of work you want to do and where you want to work at and what skills to excel at.

If you are planning to take supply chain management I would suggest you to work at logistics analyst/co-ordinator, planning and data analyst roles which would set you up to excel at your masters course.

This is a big step and I hope you give it due consideration before making a decision. Once again I congratulate you for graduating.
