I’m writing to give some advice regarding your choice between job or college. In my opinion you should opt for a job rather than going back to school.
As far as I know you, you wouldn’t enjoy college at all. You, being a introvert, will find it hard going through college. Also, there’s a fair amount of time that has passed since you last went to school. College has many more realms than just studying. There are clubs, sporting teams, gym and that sort of stuff. You wouldn’t enjoy that stuff.
In my opinion, opting for a job is a far better decision for you. You have loads of practical knowledge that got through your father. You feel fulfilled when you work on new and exciting stuff compared to listening to a lecturer yapping about some boring stuff.
I think you should apply for jobs which you can get hands-on experience. You can work at a car workshop as you have mechanic knowledge. I have never seen a car enthusiastic like you. It would really be the way to go for you. Moreover, you can also apply to lumber workshops or at a driving school.
