The given diagram illustrates how honey is produced in small-scale commercial production.
Overall, there are two main stages in the process. The first one is done by bees, and the second stage involves humans who collect and process the honey.
At the beginning, bees collect nectar from different flowers. Then they return to their hive and put the nectar into the cells. Some bees use their wings to dry the honey and also clean the hive.
In the second stage, people collect the honeycombs. The cells are sealed with wax. After that, the honeycombs are placed into a pressing machine to take out the honey. The honey goes into a sump tank, where it is heated to around 45-50 degrees celsius. Next, it moves to a sieve tank to remove any dirt. Then, it is stored in a settling tank for 2 to 4 days. In the last step, the honey is packed into jars and sold.
