The presented maps give information about how a conference room can be arranged into two distinct layouts.
Overall, both plans represent a U-shaped arrangement for participants’ tables. However, plan B accommodates more seats, thus increasing the room’s capacity, although it has the same number of tables and facilities as plan A.
Looking first at plan A, an entrance could be found in the top-right corner. Upon entering the room, attendees could immediately see the back of the whiteboard and the podium located slightly to the right. Facing the podium and the whiteboard is a set of three tables and 10 seats that are laid out in a U-shape with the longer table at the bottom. A teabreak section serving participants with pastries and beverages occupies the far wall, right behind the long table. This setup appears more appropriate for small-scale meetings, as it offers greater space for attendees to interact informally.
Regarding plan B, its layout is relatively similar to A’s, with some minor adjustments to maximize efficiency. While the entrance remains unchanged, the refreshment section is relocated to the near-right corner in an L-shape. The whiteboard and the podium are now aligned centrally, with the board positioned behind the podium. Furthermore, each table is identical in size and consists of six seats, significantly expanding the overall capacity. This configuration illustrates a more effective utilization of available space.
