In 1980, visitors spent started at $7800 and dropped significantly in 1983 reaching $6700 before finally experiencing a general increase from 1984 to 1990. The peak increase happened in 1992 from $8900 to 1992 and reached $12000. However, there was a significant decline in 2003 and the last in 2010, reaching $10.800.
The overseas visitors in 1980 were dominated by tourists (44,1%) which was the same as in 2010 (39,1%). On the other hand in 1980, business reaching the second for 26,7% continued by visiting friends and relative purposes for 14,7%. This pattern was reversible in 2010, where visiting friends (26,2%) in the second and business (22,1%) in the third. The remaining category was Others reached the least category, which in 1980 accounted for 16,6% and in 2010 accounted for 9,8%.
