Overall, it can be seen that both genders spent the highest time on TV and similar devices, whereas invested the lowest time on sports, in the leisure activities part. However, in all household activities, females gave more time except in the repair section, where reverse trend was seen.
In detail, in the table, men and women used TV, radio, video for 137 and 118 minutes respectively. Both men and women were equally involved in books, reading, around 18 minutes per day. Meanwhile, males and females were least interested in the sports activities, amounting to 15 and 11 minutes.
Moreover, in the bar chart, women spent around 75 minutes and 30 minutes on cooking and washing, and cloth washing and ironing in comparison to the men. They spent almost one third and only half of the time on these activities. Conversely, men utilized almost double time on the repair section as compared to women, accounting for about 20 and 10 minutes respectively. Additionally, males and females shopped for around 35 and 25 minutes.
