Dear Sir or Madam,
I read your recent article about the city centers of Iran with great interest. As an Iranian, there were many parts that I certainly agree with, such as the fact that most of the cities have buildings with Islamic architecture with similar iconic elements such as domes or high archs. I would also agree that due to the long standing impact of Islamic governments, the most famous landmarks, in each city, are mostly mosques.
However, I would argue that, the statement about the similarity of all town centers is somehow inaccurate. As a proof to my claim, there are many modern and tall sky-scrapers in Tehran, which is the capital of Iran, that cannot be seen elsewhere. In addition, the exotic square of Azadi, that is a symbolic monument of the city, has no rivals outside of Tehran.
There are many other exceptionalities about Tehran, which is my town, that stand out when comparing it to other towns in Iran. To clarify this further, I would like to propose an invitation to the author of the article to come and visit Tehran on a guided tour. In this way, the author can fully experience this city and attain a better overview.
Best regards,
