The bar chart compares the percentage of five many causes which affect the animal extinction such as: Habitat loss, climate change, overexploitation, pollution, invasive species.
Overall, it can be seen clearly that a majority of extinct animals is affected by habitat loss.
In contrast, pollution and invasive species have the lowest percent percentage of five causes. Habitat loss has the highest percentage of all causes which makes up 40% of the total five causes. Climate change ranks second, accounting for 25%. Compared to Habitat loss, it is lower higher by 15% compared to overexploitation. In addition, pollution the same of preportion to overexploitation of habitat loss, taking 15%. Moreover, pollution and invasive species have the same proportion being 10%. It is a quarter which this is the smallest.
In conclusion, Habitat is the main contribute to the extinction of animal, then come climate change, overexploitation and finally pollution and invasive species.
