The picture illlustrates the stages of development of a honey bee.
Overall, the lifecycle of a honeybee is madeup of 6 stages;starting from the day the eggs are been layed by the female honeybee to the day of maturization.
To begin with, the male and female honey bee mates under favourable conditions ,causing the female to produce eggs. The female honeybee gets to lay 1 or 2 of the eggs every three days. Subsequently, the eggs get hatched after 9 to 10 days and nymph forms out from the eggs leaving the shells . This nymph survives for about 5days splitting into two on the 7th day.
Futhermore, the nymph moults for the second time after 9 days into an almost adult shedding its feathers for further growth to occur. The young adults emerges after few days. For a full matured honey bee to emerge, the young adults undergoes its final moulting(4days). This cycle takes about 34-36days to occur.
