Dear Sir,

I am writing to reserve a room for my family at your hotel as well as request more information about places of interest and activities in the area.

I will be arriving with my husband and two children to spend the August bank holiday weekend at Whitborough. We would like to book in on the evening of Friday 27th and check out on Monday 30th at around lunchtime. We would like to book two adjoining rooms – one with a double bed and the other with two single beds – as well as a private bathroom. We would prefer a seaside view if possible, as well as a balcony for the double room. Could you tell me how much this would cost for the weekend?

During our stay we intend to see as much as possible of the local area. We have been told about the castle and maritime museum but could not find information about opening times and admission prices. Would you happen to have this information available? In addition, are there any further places you would recommend to visitors to the area? While my husband and I will be quite content with the beach and local attractions, I would also greatly appreciate if you could provide me with a list of activities that our children could take part in during their stay.
