The line graph illustrates how many Americans travel everyday by car, bus or train from 1980 to 2040. Overall, Americans prefer car to travel the most and then train, Bus is the least option for them to move across the places.
As per the graph, In 1980 average number of people travelling by the bus, car and the train was four, five and six millions respectively. Afterwards, the numbers for the motors and railways slightly fluctuated until 2010, where citizens travelling by car increased to 7 millions in 2000 and moving by train rose to 5.5 millions and settled again to 6 and 5 millions respectively in 2010 . However, steady decline was seen in the uses of the bus by the USA individuals, which is predicted to get settled at 2 millions by 2040.
On the other hand, After 2010 the uses of the car and the train rapidly expanded, by 2040 it can reach over 9 millions and 7 millions. In contrast, the car and the train is the most preferable option for the United States citizens, where utilization of the bus service is minimal.
