Dear Jack,I
got your letter two days ago in which you asked whether you should continue your studies or do a job. I am writing to advise that doing a job is a better option.
College focus only on academics and don’t teach any skills. I am telling you this from my personal experience. Moreover, in academic institutions, there is always competition of getting good grades which might not be of much value further in your career.
Getting hired in a company will help you gain experience of your respective field. Also, dealing with your peers at a professional level plays a critical role in polishing your interpersonal skills.
As you have done your bachelor’s in civil engineering, I recommend you to try for a construction management job. Alternately, a job as an architect is also suitable to your academics. I hope you find this letter helpful and it benefits your career.
Yours sincerely,
