Image for topic: You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The diagrams show the greenhouse effect on the temperature of the Earth. Describe the process. Write at least 250 words.
Our system will evaluate the answer based on this AI-generated description.
The image displays three diagrams illustrating Earth’s heat retention process: (1) Sun emits heat radiation, with the following distribution: 51% absorbed by Earth, 19% absorbed by clouds and atmosphere, 20% scattered and reflected by clouds, and 6% back-scattered by atmosphere; (2) Sun’s radiation heats Earth, heat lost at night, greenhouse gases in atmosphere trap and reflect heat to keep Earth warm and habitable; (3) Pollution increases greenhouse gases, trapping more heat than before, making Earth warmer.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The diagram illustrates the process by which the greenhouse effect regulates Earth’s temperature.

The cycle unfolds in three key stages. Solar radiation first penetrates the atmosphere and reaches Earth’s surface, where it is absorbed and re-emitted as heat. This heat is then partially captured by naturally occurring greenhouse gases is such as carbon dioxide and water vapor, which prevent it from escaping into space. When human activity causes concentrations of these gases to rise, a greater proportion of heat is retained, driving a gradual increase in global temperatures.

The solar radiation from the sun reaches the Earth. Of this energy, 51% is absorbed by the Earth’s surface. Meanwhile 20% is scattered and reflected by clouds, 19% is absorbed by the atmosphere and clouds, while 6% is scattered from atmosphere.

As the result Earth’s surface temperature increases by Sun radiation. The part of the heat is emitted back into space, while another part lingers as greenhouse in atmosphere and reflect heat. Consequently, the planet remains warmer enough to support life. On the other side Earth’s atmosphere amount of the greenhouse gases is increased by pollution. As a result, less heat escapes into space and the Earth’s temperature rises further.
