Dear Ms. Latika,
I hope this letter finds you well. I haven’t written you in a long time since I was away from the country working on a new project for my company in Dubai. When I returned last Wednesday, I unexpectedly met I met our school administrator, Mr. John, at the airport, which is how I came to know about your retirement date.
It was a shocking realization how quickly the years have passed. I vividly remember those school days, especially our classroom and your outstanding lectures. Your ability to engage students in the classroom and your passion for presenting lectures were the highlights of your class. You taught me different subjects in school, and in each class, you treated all students equally while also encouraging each student to perform their best in studies.
During my last year, I was completely confused regarding higher education and career goals, and it was you who gave me invaluable guidance and mentorship to realize what was best for me, as well as identifying my strengths. It is because of you that I pursued engineering, and as you said, I am now successful in my path, and i am currently working in a better position at a construction company. I will always be grateful for your support and the great advice you gave for my career.
Thank you again for every lesson you taught me. I would like to come see you before you leave school. Please let me know which dates are most convenient for you. Look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Amber
