The graph shows the weekly market share of visits to different websites in the UK, starting from the 10th of March 2007, until the next year, 08th of March 2008. The statistics showed significant changes, with Facebook being the highest, and MySpace having the least share of visits.
On March 10th, 2007, Bebo.com started off strong, specifically cornering above 1.0%. The percentage then climbed as months passed, reaching its highest just above 1.5% before the 30th of June, the same year. The trend then diminished and rose again, reaching its final share of 1.46%.
MySpace, on the other hand, began high, similar to Bebo.com, just slightly above 1.0%. The trend had a similar cycle to the previous website mentioned as well, continuing to rise and fall. But as September 2007 approached, the trend slowly descended until finally ending at 0.89%.
Lastly, Facebook had a low placing, only reaching 0.5% and slowly rising. As the third quarter of the year arrived, specifically before September, the trend skyrocketed, reaching just above 1.5%, and continued to ascend to its highest, with a percentage a bit higher than 2.0%. It then descended as 2008 started, and eventually ended at a statistic of 1.96%.
