Overall, the process consists of seven distanct phases, starting with storing corn and ending with another storage as ethanol before final transportation.
After the corn being stored, it goes through a milling process which then leads to the cooking part. While the milled corn is being cooked for four hours, the water is added to the substance. Subsequently, the cooked corn is being fremented for approximately two days.
In the following section, the substance is being separated into liquid and solid, which is used as a by-product. After the liquid is purified for five hours to produce ethanol, it goes through the last storing phase before being transported as the final product.
