The tow maps depict the dramatic changes that had occurred in a specific area from 1965 to the present.
Overall, it is apparent that this area had undergone considerable transformation over the period examined, incorporating modern amenities and facilities following development. Additionally, some locations had remained unaltered.
As can be clearly seen the 1965 map illustrates this area was relatively small. There was a large river located in the middle of the area, and a forest located in the left-hand corner and the road small to the left of the river. Meanwhile, in the top right-hand corner of the river, there was a assford with some house, and a road from river leading to assford. Also, a ferry on the river connecting the two roads.
The second map clearly shows that the forest has been cut down and replaced by a large car park, and the river is still in the same place. Additionally, to the north of the river, the new apartment buildings have been constructed. Also, on the northeast side of the map, assford has remained unchange, and there is a new residential area with various houses. On the west side of the area, there is a city located. There are a road bridge and a foot bridge have been constructed connecting the west and east sides of the river again. On the east side of the road bridge and foot bridge, there are some house located in here. Finally, the new car park is built to the south of the foot bridge.
