A glance at the pie charts provided, reveals an in depth division of entertainments among European adults in 1985 and 1995.
Watching TV being the most favorite way for people to spend their free time in the year of 1985, following by eating out and talking to friends at the second and third place with 23 percent compare to 21 percent. Finally talking with family is the least popular among these four leisures.
In 1995 after a decade, Watching TV was still the go to activity among Europeans. Astonishingly, In that survey there was a new source of enjoyment and that was playing computer games. On the contrary eating out slid away to just 8 percent compared to 23 percent in the previous test.
On a interesting note, In the period of 10 years only one new habit has been added, however, with the drop in the percentage of eating out we can assume people became more eager to stay home instead of going to.
